Day 45 marks a major milestone: students submit their final projects and present their work in a peer-reviewed showcase session. The goal is to provide feedback, celebrate progress, and simulate a portfolio presentation environment.
The day starts with final project polishing and preparation. Learners double-check for bugs, performance issues, and missing elements. They create short presentations (2–3 minutes) describing their project goals, core features, challenges faced, and what they’re most proud of. Screenshots, gameplay recordings, and playable builds are prepared for showcase.
Each participant presents their game or environment in a relaxed but professional setting, gaining confidence in articulating their design choices. Mentors and peers provide constructive feedback, focusing on what works well and areas of improvement. This real-world practice helps students prepare for job interviews and portfolio reviews.
Mentors also highlight exceptional projects to be featured on the course website or social media (if applicable), offering visibility and recognition. Students are encouraged to network, take notes from others’ presentations, and ask questions. The showcase is collaborative, not competitive—everyone’s progress is celebrated.
Additionally, students learn how to record portfolio reels using Movie Render Queue and how to write brief descriptions or devlogs that effectively explain their projects to potential employers or clients.
By the end of Day 45, students walk away with a completed, reviewed project and a sense of closure and accomplishment. They also gain feedback that’s essential for improving future builds and presenting their work professionally in the job market.
